MOUTH GUARD

We provide mouthguards to improve your sports performance and protect your teeth…

Not only are sports mouth guards crucial for protecting your teeth during fast-paced activity, they can also improve your overall balance during movement.

Custom-made designs

By wearing a mouthguard especially made for you, your jaw is positioned at its correct resting position for optimum performance. Made to custom fit, your mouthguards will protect your smile and fit snugly over your teeth for the duration of your game.

Stabilising the jaw

Mouthguards will stabilise your head, neck and jaw whilst you are mobile. Perfect balance of these areas will ensure your performance will be at its peak during your game and improve your breathing ability.

Protection

Wearing a mouthguard during high-contact sports will also ensure you are free from any serious dental injuries. Due to their shock-absorption abilities, your mouthguard can prevent accidents such as tooth-loss from occurring.

Custom Mouthguards – Seatbelts for your Teeth

Just as you wouldn't think of driving without seatbelts you shouldn't do anything that might result in a mouth injury without wearing a mouthguard. A mouthguard for children with braces is strongly recommended. We make custom-fitted mouthguards to protect you or your children's teeth during any rough activity. All our mouthguards are individually designed and made.

A custom-made mouth guard is more expensive than other types, but it provides the most comfort and best protection. It limits the risk of mouth-related injuries to lips, tongue, and soft tissues. They also help avoid chipped or broken teeth, nerve damage to a tooth and tooth loss.

Mouthguards generally cover the upper teeth only, but in some instances (where there are braces or some other fixed dental appliance on the lower jaw) we will make a mouth guard for the lower teeth as well. An effective mouth guard should be comfortable, resist tears, be durable and easy to clean and should not restrict breathing or speech.

A mouthguard is usually available two to three weeks after we take the impression. Let us know if you want clear or coloured.
